Declined speedy

@Nicky mathew: @Kvmccracken: I've declined the speedy since there is an assertion of notability here via the coverage from the New York Tribune, most specifically the review for the gallery. I performed a further search and found this Routledge book and this one from Yale University Press that give off the impression that this gallery is notable. I do need Kvmccracken to complete the sourcing for the newspaper sources, since we need to have the title of the news articles and who wrote them. I'm aware that at least one is an advert, so the title for this can be descriptive like "Advertisement for opening". The sourcing isn't on the Internet and that is concerning, but as long as Kvmccracken can provide a copy of this coverage then that's fine, since coverage does not have to be on the Internet to show notability. We just have to be able to verify it in some form or fashion.

On a side note, I get the strong impression that this is likely a student assignment. Kvmccracken, if this is the case then I'd like for you to look over WP:STUDENTS and if your teacher hasn't signed up for a course page yet, I'd like to extend an invitation for them to set one up and post at the Wikipedia:Education noticeboard. I'll post a student's welcome on your talk page. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:46, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • If it is, can you post {{Educational assignment}} at the top of this talk page or let me know so I can post it? This is mostly just for records keeping and to let incoming editors know, since by large most of us are more likely to be a little kinder when we know we're dealing with students.
