Date of organization's founding?

The published newspaper reference I found WJWtip looks as though it is from a 2012 interview: 2003 The reference on the TIP web-site is: 2002 Could be that "founding" is variously defined: tax status, incorporation, ideas, etc. [1] [2] MichelleInSanMarcos (talk) 17:53, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Removed criticism section

I removed this section for the following reasons:

The Israel Project withdrew its support for an anti-Iran rally in September 2008.[1]

The source for this statement is a blog and blogs are not reliable sources. I could find no other source -- no press release from the Israel Project nor any Google news confirmation.

Several Jewish groups, including the Zionist Organization of America and Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs withdrew their support [2] [3]

None of these sources have anything to do with Israel Project (except for the poorly sourced blog). Nor is it factually correct -- they protested the withdrawal of the invitation to Palin but explicitly did not withdraw support for the rally. Irrelevant, regardless to this article.

not wishing to alienate their increasingly conservative base - given that the decision to withdraw a speaking slot of vice presidential candidate Palin was rooted in a desire not to jeopardize the nonprofit status of the sponsoring groups (which are prohibited from providing platforms to candidates without affording equal opportunities to all candidates).[4]

the source does not support these characterizations and are thereby disallowed original research.

The Israel Project remained in support of a rally sponsored by the arch-conservative, anti-abortion, and anti-gay rights group Concerned Women for America. [5]

The source says nothing about the Israel Project. ∴ Therefore cogito·sum 17:24, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Edits by anon

I undid some recent edits by an anon which had no edit comments, removed a cite, and were somewhat POV. --John Nagle (talk) 16:38, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

I've been improving some of the references. Also dropped the part about TIP "implanting" people in Palestinian demonstrations. I haven't found any indication of that. (It seems unlikely, too; TIP is mostly a generator of PR material, not an on-the-ground organization). --John Nagle (talk) 17:07, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
