Ngaio Marsh references The Ingoldsby Legends in chapter one of "The Dancing Footman" first published in 1941.

The Widdleton 2 volume omnibus was listed as being published in 1872. In fact, it's from 1864. Documentation in WorldCat and from a copy at auction at Heritage Auctions. Darrah (talk) 06:35, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

According to this article the episode of Star Trek it references makes the claim that the poem titled "The Merchant of Venice: A Legend of Italy" by Richard Harris Barham is the source of the phrase "Never Say Die". It isn't mentioned on the relevant wikipedia page [1] nor is the etymology discussed at wiktionary [2]. Perhaps someone could confirm? Seems worth adding to Richard Harris Barham's page if a more reliable reference can be found. 82.2.100.205 (talk) 20:17, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
