Some anonymous editor wrote in a comment to his or her edit, "This makes it seem like practically all recordings of the work were well-received. The Cleveland Quartet's version is not that highly regarded, so I'm removing them at least. them from the list." Well, BBC Music Magazine gave the recording 5 stars, commenting that “these performances must rank among the finest in the catalogue.” Having said this, I believe a list of "well-rec'd" recordings borders on non-NPOV. So I have removed "well-rec'd" but added back in the Cleveland Qt. as a (widely available) modern recording by a major ensemble. mcoverdale (talk) 19:22, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There are (at least) 3 recordings by the Cleveland Quartet of No. 2, one of which ('farewell recital') is live; another recording is labelled 'debut recording'. They clearly had a soft spot for it!
