A newsworthy event it may have been; but only for the fact that the PM's security entourage failed to prevent someone carrying a potentially dangerous 'weapon' from getting close enough to hug the PM.

Sure, it may have been in adoration or just in good spirits, but this young man still does not deserve an article in Wikipedia and thus it should be duly deleted. Orbitalwow 17:42, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Being British, I'd never heard of this minor incident before. Surely one purpose of wikipedia is to answer questions that might spring into people's minds, perhaps in 20 years time. As it's been written, I can't see any harm in keeping it. Nunquam Dormio 10:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
