This article was nominated for deletion on 26 July 2008. The result of the discussion was merge and redirect to Ruby (programming language).

This is not a very good redirect: the target page does not mention Gnome at all. Seems like an odd decision to merge with the Ruby language page (it's a bit like merging 'Qt (toolkit)' with 'C++').
