In the second paragraph of the plot, Mr Smee is listed as both captain and first mate. It should be changed from: "A ship of pirates is anchored off Neverland, led by Mr. Smee and his first mate, Mr. Smee." To: "A ship of pirates is anchored off Neverland, led by Captain Hook and his first mate, Mr. Smee." Agreeablespare (talk) 15:02, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thanks for pointing this out. Stelmaris (talk) 15:26, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What's the connection between Peter Pan (this film) and Women's sports? (I'm not being belligerent, I'm just puzzled.) BMJ-pdx (talk) 10:55, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Under the "controversy" section, there's a quote attributed to Marc Davis in 2007, but that makes no sense because Marc Davis died in 2000. Either the date needs to be changed or the sentence reworded.

Edit request on all parts of the crocodile

The crocodile has a name which is Tick-Tock, should we refer to the crocodile as this during his parts of the plot? 2601:646:9E01:77F5:8569:8C2E:E72B:AB22 (talk) 04:12, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The crocodile isn't referred to by name in this film. At 0:24:08, Smee says to Hook, "But now when he's about, he warns ya, ya might say, with his tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.", but that's as close as it ever gets. (The referent of Smee's pronouns is Hook's previous "the crocodile".) And at 0:44:22, Peter addresses him as "Oh, Mr. Crocodile, do you like codfish?" (alluding to Captain Hook). Accordingly, I removed the name "Tick-Tock" from section "Character animation", since it was referring to this film. But its use in section "Sequels" should (presumably) remain, since it's referring to the television series. BMJ-pdx (talk) 10:14, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Captain Hook's keyboard instrument?

Does anyone know definitively what kind of keyboard instrument produced the sound for Captain Hook's playing, in his cabin when he is conning Tinker Bell, at approx. 0:53:06 ? It sounds rather like a harpsichord, but the uppermost treble notes sound more like a piano. Is it a tack piano, or possibly a fortepiano? BMJ-pdx (talk) 08:50, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
