Talk:Pepper jack cheese

This article should be renamed to just "Pepperjack". The use of the word "cheese" is redundant. If the "cheese" appendix is felt necessary, then may I suggest the name "Pepperjack (Cheese)"?

Isn't it usually referred to as "pepperjack cheese"? Only occasionally do I hear someone say just "pepperjack". I guess the same applies to "Cheddar" VS. "Cheddar cheese"Adambiswanger1 00:55, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

Would this not be better merged with Monterey Jack cheese? FlagSteward 01:21, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I second that. Implementing template. Brokenwit (talk) 06:28, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm removing it. Enigmamsg 04:48, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
@Enigmaman: Do you remember why you decided that? Nine years later and the article is only a single sentence. A merger seems good to me. Languorrises (talk) 05:53, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The Broken user stuck in a template but no one did anything for four months. Enigmamsg 06:56, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ah alright. I'm gonna stick that template back in for maybe four days this time and if no one has objections I'll merge. Languorrises (talk) 01:18, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The merge sounds like a no-brainer (and damned little work, at that). Tarl N. (discuss) 02:08, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I did it. I'm trying to follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Merging but could someone who knows what they're doing look this over? I'm supposed to do something with the talk pages now but I have to stop here for the moment. Languorrises (talk) 01:12, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think since there is so little content on this talk page, the right thing to do is simply ditch the contents and replace with a

"Invented in Arizona"

I removed this incomplete and unsourced sentence. If you want to re-add it, please at least make it a full sentence, saying when and where in Arizona it was invented (assuming that it actually was invented there). -- 77.7.189.140 (talk) 16:15, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The picture

I noticed that the picture on this page is completely identical to the picture on the Monterey Jack cheese page. I'm not sure which picture is the correct one so I didn't touch either of the articles, but someone should take a look at them and replace whichever one is false with an accurate picture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.242.152.18 (talk) 03:15, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
