The contents of the Pepper jack cheese page were merged into Monterey Jack on 2 February 2018 and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history.

This article should be renamed to just "Pepperjack". The use of the word "cheese" is redundant. If the "cheese" appendix is felt necessary, then may I suggest the name "Pepperjack (Cheese)"?

Isn't it usually referred to as "pepperjack cheese"? Only occasionally do I hear someone say just "pepperjack". I guess the same applies to "Cheddar" VS. "Cheddar cheese"Adambiswanger1 00:55, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that the picture on this page is completely identical to the picture on the Monterey Jack cheese page.
