Relocated station

The station was relocated in 1893 (as was Cadishead), and I believe that this was because the impending opening of the Manchester Ship Canal meant that the railway had to be raised to a higher level, to allow ships to pass beneath; the new alignment was parallel to, but sightly to the south-west of, the old one.
