I agree that the article needs a photo, and I am sorry to undo all 94.1.146.228's hard work getting that Geograph one in, but with the best will in the world I didn't feel it added anything - it's mostly beach, with an extremely distant Dunstanburgh (not the topic of the article) and some beach huts which, while they are certainly there, aren't really very specially about Newton and are also not mentioned. Sorry - I hate to be negative. I've just been looking at the Commons collection of Newton photos and I was wondering about the one called "Cottages, Newton-by-the-Sea - geograph.org.uk - 683170.jpg" or maybe "Low Newton-by-the-Sea - geograph.org.uk - 427349.jpg". Both are good in that they show buildings which are characteristic of Low Newton; the former also shows the proximity of the sea, whereas the latter omits the sea but is good for the square and pub. Or other topics moight be good, and there may be other photos out there ... What do you think? Thanks and best wishes DBaK (talk) 08:46, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
