Shouldn't the whole treatment of PFO issue be transferred to the Atrial septal defect article where it would be more useful, leaving this article focused on the relations of PFO and migraine ? Chris CII (talk) 09:17, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, this entire article could be merged into a general one about ASD and/or PFO. Donsmokem (talk) 03:37, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speaking as one of the "educated laypersons" wandering in for personal research, I think that the advantage of keeping the "Migraines associated with PFO heart defect" article separate from the ASD article(s) is that it allows those looking only for migraine-related info to get those basics quickly and then make the individual choice whether or not to investigate ASDs further. That said, I don't think the article does a very good job of making clear the fact that PFOs are a type of ASDs. Remember the audience, though--thanks! I think PFO could be split off of ASD as a sub-article, then this one could be merged into that. ASD is a long article so I don't think it would hurt, and I think this article would be best as a section of a PFO article. cyclosarin (talk) 02:17, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merging

There is a separate article on migraine surgery too. I really think that's the most appropriate location....
