Napier

Archibald Napier was Master of the Mint in Scotland (see here), so I am removing him from this list. Martin was Master of the Mint from 1581/82. - PKM (talk) 06:59, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ralph Freeman

Ralph Freeman (lawyer) began as the Mint's auditor, so is presumably the commissioner. Any further biographical information about him would be welcome. Charles Matthews (talk) 09:59, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See the reference in the Freeman article for the 1635 business. Charles Matthews (talk) 11:44, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sir John York

See Sir John York for a Master earlier in the sixteenth century. Charles Matthews (talk) 06:52, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gap

1498-1509 Gap in Masters (to be noted) or accidental omission from the list? Jackiespeel (talk) 10:38, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
