His supporters are using the article for promoting him
The article should not be written from sources inside Iran. None of them are neutral. They are all propaganda of the Iranian government. Twenty77 (talk) 02:12, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
Descent in first sentence?
According to the Lead manual of style his descent should not be mentioned in the first sentence. Drako (talk) 04:16, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
- What would be interesting is why he has an Armenian name. 2001:8003:A070:7F00:BCED:BC2D:D7AA:11F (talk) 06:16, 6 July 2024 (UTC)

@Ashkanhasebi: Varzesh3 is not a valid source. It is a dedicated sports website. Also, Masoud's professorship degree does not mean he is "the most literate president in the political history of Iran". -- Iri1388 (talk) 17:34, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
- This has been mentioned in most of Iran's official media. Even by one of the political analysts - Davar Mir - this is stated in this way: Dr. Pezeshkian, if elected, will become the most educated president in the history of the world with a specialist degree and a scientific rank of full professor. The only president in the world who is fluent in six living languages, namely Farsi, English, French, Arabic, Turkish and Kurdish. Ashkanhasebi (talk) 17:49, 6 July 2024 (UTC)

- Dear @Iri1388, this video Pezeshkian saying verbly, My father and Mother are Turks. Regards, Zafer (talk) 06:48, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Zafer, that is true. Despite lots of sources in Iran saying his mother is Kurdish, Masoud said his mother is a Azerbaijani Turk. This video belongs to BBC NEWS AZERBAIJANI. Also it is possible that his maternal grandparents are Kurdish and Azerbaijani. -- Iri1388 (talk) 16:28, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- Of course possible @Iri1388, but person saying my mother Turk, he is not talking about grandfather or mother. Regards, Zafer (talk) 18:15, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

- Pezeshkian's mother and father are both Azerbaijani turks lived in Urmia and Masoud was born in Mahabad. He has no kurdish root, as he explains here in native Azerbaijani about this matter in this video: https://www.instagram.com/p/C9HTADssp3j/?igsh=MW9tYnF6NXR1ZnNsdw%3D%3D Yoled3 (talk) 02:20, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
