There is already an article on the PBM Mariner, also this article Martin PBM-1 Mariner, is not of high standard. --Bryson 22:52, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You really are a persistent one, Bryson. Why do you take such an interest in my articles? Anyway, you say my articles are not of high standard and should be merged with parent articles. Just because it is of a certain type does not mean it should be merged with its parent. They are not of high standard because of the reason discussed above. Look at it this way - it's like the u boat articles you do. It could be argued that they should be merged with their type and not made individual articles. Or perhapes even into one universal U boat article. It involves the same principal. See what I mean?

No, not really, each U-boat is a different boat, they should have a different article. But we don't need two articles for the same aircraft type. --Bryson 23:37, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps, but keep in mind that there were many thousands of U boats, you only need to take a look at a couple to realise they are very similar. My article is different to PBM Mariner because: 1. It has a different name 2. It is of a different type etc.

It is still the exact same aircraft, and the other article covers the PBM-1. --Bryson 03:57, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
