The following sentence was removed for various sourcing problems:

In 1991, she married Martin J. "Marty" Dannenfelser Jr, then the chief of staff to Rep. Chris Smith, later staff director for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and now senior policy adviser for the United States House Committee on Energy and Commerce|House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

The info re the marriage and date is unsupported by any source. The claims about "Marty's" career history is supported only by synthesis of primary materials (drawn from a website that purports to "bring transparency to the U.S. Congress by disseminating public documents") in violation of WP:NOR,WP:PRIMARY and WP:BLP. Of course, WP:PRIMARY allows for simple facts to be introduced to the article, such as what job Martin Dannenfelser holds. Such simple facts are not synthesis, as there is no A + B = C equation being foisted on the reader.

We have a bunch of sources about Martin J. "Marty" Dannenfelser Jr:

• Congressional yellow book, Volume 32, Issue 1, 1990. Lists Marjorie Jones and Martin Dannenfelser as staff contacts to two Representatives, Mollohan and Smith, respectively.
• Martin J. Dannenfelser in 1991 serving as administrative assistant to Representative Christopher H. Smith.
• "Marjorie lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband Marty and their five children, ages 9-18."
• "Marjorie Dannenfelser, the head of the Susan B. Anthony List, a top pro-life political group, has endorsed McCain as has her husband Martin Dannenfelser, a former Family Research Council vice president."
• Policy Experts 2000: a guide to public policy experts and organizations. United States code congressional and administrative news, volume 5, 1999. Shows Family Research Council affiliation.

You've got the SBA List website bio plus one secondary source. The rest look to be primary sources culled from your extensive original research, which of course is not permitted. Cloonmore (talk) 02:46, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You keep returning to the SBA List website as the touchstone but for Dannenfelser it is a primary source. The only secondary source shown above is the Life News article.

Give WP:BLPPRIMARY another quick look and you'll see that primary sources can be used carefully in a BLP to support simple facts as an augmentation of secondary sources. For instance, the various Capitol Hill directories that you can see in the links such as this one listing one volume of the Congressional yellow book can be used, in this case to say that Martin Dannenfelser and Marjorie Jones worked at the same time as Congressional staffers in 1990. The city of Arlington has been connected to Dannenfelser multiple times as residence and office:

• "SBA List founder shares how she found a mission that motivates her everyday". Federal News Network. 2019-12-18. She is an alumna of Duke University and she and her husband, Marty, live in Arlington, Virginia, and have five children.
• Howley, Kerry (May 9, 2022). "The Woman Who Killed Roe". The Cut. Dannenfelser's office is on the top floor of a glass-rimmed ovoid high-rise in Arlington, Virginia... Dannenfelser in her office in Arlington, Virginia.
• New Yorker magazine: "the group’s office was a spare room in Dannenfelser’s house, on a quiet street in Arlington, Virginia... Dannenfelser still lives in Arlington, down the street from the house that was once home to the S.B.A. List"
• The Washington Post: "She lives in Arlington, Va."
• Arkansas Online: 'Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List, in her Arlington, Va., office in April"
• National Catholic Register: "The couple live in Arlington, Virginia, and have five children."
