Talk:Major sports in Canada

I know people will ask why the NFL is not on this list. I excluded it for one fact. The NFL does not have one Canadian franchise and therefore cannot be considered a major sport in Canada. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tawker (talk • contribs)

Further thought: this article need not conform to the format of the Major professional sports league article, which deals exclusively with the Big Four leagues. This article could deal with all major sports in Canada, including sports like curling. Skeezix1000 13:15, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
