Why not left wing terrorism? There are articles on right wing terrorism.

Wikipedia has this because of WP:EVENT, you see many examples of left wing terrorist attacks.Wikipedia has one for right wing terrorism and this article has more than enough WP:RS per Wikipedia policy. LuxembourgLover (talk) 13:44, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this up for deletion?

I've read the comments above, and I still don't know why this is being nominated for deletion.

Everyone above seems to have complaints centered around a single point; that this article could use a serious update. It could be more detailed, and that is doable.

I think this page should be left up and should be updated as needed, one because left wing terrorism is a thing, and it would be nice if we could read about it like we cna read about right wing terrorism, and two because Wikipedia is all about neutrality, and having a page on right wing terrorism, and then deleting the one about left wing terrorism seems a bit non neutral, no?

Yes, the page in question is shaky, but why not build on what is there, instead of deleting it all together? Ladytethys (talk) 03:27, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Miss(?) Account-that-was-made-today, you should share your thoughts over at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Left-wing terrorism (2nd nomination), because that is where the actual deletion discussion is taking place. Yue🌙 03:32, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Image

Damage resulted from the bombing outside of the Chamber of the United States Senate on November 7, 1983. The bombing was a retaliation hit against U.S. military involvement in Lebanon and Grenada.[1]

Is an image of the aftermath of the 1983 United States Senate bombing a good example of 'left-wing terrorism'? Neither Resistance Conspiracy case nor even 1983 United States Senate bombing itself emphasize the 'left-wing' ideology of the perpetrators. It's also odd to use an image of a relatively obscure bombing which is not even mentioned in the body of the article. This bombing was also in a country which, per the article has had only a single far-left attack in the past two decades. This bombing seems like an unusual case, and therefor doesn't seem like a good example of the entire topic.
