Merge Jumbolair to here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumbolair
We are having issues with the resulting information being Intellectual Property and the initial article belongs to Jumbolair. Due to a combined effort of a hand full of individuals over the years past, Jumbolair Airport has attempted to erase the name Greystone from the record books and replace the name with only the standing name Jumbolair.
There are several individuals that would like to see Jumbolair fail because this is the home site of John Travolta.
For whatever reason, we are being blocked by the owner of the article for removing the name Greystone and this may result in a legal dispute with the individual owner of the article.
Jumbolair is not affiliated with, has no ties to Greystone, and is not in any way shape or form a entity of Greystone in any shape or way or form. The attempts to remove the name Greystone from Wikipedia in the past have been unsuccessful. This is the final attempt to have the name Greystone removed from the Wikipedia search engine completely in any affiliated name or name sake that is tied to Jumbolair will be scheduled for a legal suit to remedy this situation.
The article must completely remove all names "Greystone" attached to the article and have no search results with the name Greystone associated to the name Jumbolair.
A legal representative will be in touch with Wikipedia in the event that the name Greystone is not removed within 30 days of this email. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.180.94.228 (talk) 14:33, 5 December 2013 (UTC)

Jumbolair Airport (FAA LID: 17FL) is a private-use airport. It is located in the unincorporated community of Anthony, which is seven miles (11 km) northeast of Ocala, Florida, USA. Frank Merschman owns and operates Jumbolair.[1] The airport has two runways: 18/36 with an asphalt pavement measuring 7,550 x 210 ft (2,301 x 64 m) and 9/27 with a grass surface measuring 3,640 x 100 ft (1,109 x 30 m). According to FAA documents, 18/36 ""Greystone"" grass airstrip was once so degraded that only the smallest aircraft could use it.[2]
Jumbolair
Jumbolair Aviation Estates is an aviation-related gated community and airpark situated alongside the airport's runway.
Terri Jones (formerly Terri Brantner), a former Revlon model and flying enthusiast, manages the estates. A 380 acres (150 ha) horse ranch formerly built by Muriel Vanderbilt and purchased by Jones' first husband Arthur Jones (inventor of the Nautilus cam) in 1980 sits at the community's center. The 550 acres (220 ha) development contains two 3 acres (1.2 ha) lots connected by taxiways which lead to the runways.
John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston were some of the first land purchasers. The runway length allows Travolta, a pilot, to operate his Boeing 707 jet. In January 2007, litigation prevented all property owners in the subdivision from accessing the runway with their aircraft. The access issue was resolved when Jumbolair purchased the adjacent land and remaining airport rights.[1]

I propose to move forward with the merger of Jumbolair into the name of this article as Jumbolair-Greystone Airport because of article Link Article is "JUMBOLAIR-GREYSTONE ARPT 17FL GNV ZJX" as it clearly states int he FAA document "This is not only GREYSTONE ARPT" soon the name Greystone will be no longer part of the name, as Jumbolair plans to re-file for the name in the first part of the year 2014. JUMBOLAIR-GREYSTONE ARPT 17FL GNV ZJX will change to JUMBOLAIR ARPT.

I have proposed the merger of Jumbolair into this article because the Jumbolair article is about a subdivision, for which the only claim to notability seems to be the controversy over John Travolta's plane. Note that the controversy over Travolta's plane is covered here. Jumbolair therefore appears to exist only for the sake of the houses adjacent to the airport, which are not notable in themselves. -- Donald Albury 11:24, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- I wouldn't oppose a merge of these articles - actually Jumbolair appears to be more notable (not only for Travolta and the airport dispute; see Arthur Jones (inventor), and airparks are quite unusual) - but there is enough of an overlap that most of the content would otherwise appear in both articles. I would prefer merging Jumbolair into Greystone Airport and then expanding the article from there. --Snigbrook (talk) 00:07, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- agree merge Jumbolair into Greystone airport. Carl M. Anglesea (talk) 15:29, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- After two months with no comments against, I have merged the two articles and Jumbolair now redirects to Greystone Airport. -- Zyxw (talk) 02:55, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Greystone Airport NOT A NAME
Nothing is "Greysstone" anymore. Everything is Jumbolair. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JumbolairAV8 (talk • contribs) 05:55, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
