Re "John 'Tadody' de Braose was probably born at Bramber in West Sussex."

This is not the place for "probably"s. If there's no reference for it, it should go. --Doug (talk) 19:45, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re "In June 1215 he was present for the signing of the Magna Carta."

This is unsourced and not likely to be true. It is contradicted by the statements on either side of it - that John was imprisoned from 1214 to 1218. --Doug (talk) 01:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re "having spent some time in the care of a surviving uncle Giles de Braose, Bishop of Hereford."

This should come before the imprisonment. Giles died in 1215. --Doug (talk) 01:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mother birth date

...probably not 1175. Need to research more accurate date of birth. Probably 1183 or 1182, not earlier than 1181.Mahiselman (talk) 02:11, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

On the Wikipedia page for Richard de Clare, her father, Maud's birthdate is given as ca. 1184. Until a reference is found for a more accurate date it might be best, at least for consistency, to use the same date here. Doug (at Wiki) 10:07, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
