Only known mule pug mill in the US?

There is an assertion that Brown's pug mill is the "only known" mule driven pug mill left in the US. I ran across this factoid looking at the description of a Carol Highsmith photograph of Brown from The George F. Landegger Collection of Alabama Photographs. But posting such an assertion needs a better reference. Anyone have a reference to this assertion? Trilobitealive (talk) 17:17, 24 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
