In removing the Coren search bot notice, I just want to note that the original text is under a creative commons license. See Jamie Merisotis full biography. Copyright notice is at the bottom of the page. MatthewJenkins (talk) 15:32, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for correcting the bot. Don't forget to add the {{dual}} template next time, though. :) Theleftorium 11:21, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- I dunno, the page also says "© 2009 Lumina Foundation", a rewrite will be necessary anyway, there's a great deal of sales-pitch language in here. Hairhorn (talk) 16:30, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- The copyright notice shouldn't be a problem, as long as it doesn't include contradictory text such as "All rights reserved." As Wikipedia:Copyrights notes, "You retain copyright to materials you contribute to Wikipedia, text and media." As long as it is verified to be properly licensed for reproduction, copyright is not an issue. Promotional language is another question. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:38, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- I place a copypaste template on the article. I don't see any indication of copyright or free use on the website. It sounds like there used to a copyright indicated but that the text was under a creative commons license. As I can't prove that now, I've placed the tag. OlYeller21Talktome 22:10, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

- A license has been added but I don't think it's compatible with WP. It's CC-BY and not CC-BY-SA. I'm going to look into this and address this issue within the next 10-20 minutes. OlYeller21Talktome 14:47, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
- The license is compatible per WP:Compatible license. I'll remove the template now. OlYeller21Talktome 14:49, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
