References

Could someone verify that the term "Cinderella book" is also found in:

Guy L. Steele, Eric S. Raymond, eds. (1996). The New Hacker's Dictionary (3rd ed.). MIT Press. ISBN 0-262-68092-0.

Then we could replace the reference to the Jargon file with a reference to its printed version (i.e. The new Hacker's Dictionary). (For encyclopedic articles it is always preferred to cite printed sources.) Hermel (talk) 22:23, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname

This section is plagiarism, a direct quote from The Jargon File. It needs to be quoted and sourced appropriately.

Back cover

The back cover of the Cinderella edition is also mentioned in the article. Is an image of it worthwhile? (I can provide one.) Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 21:04, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate links

There are two links to the Jargon File - one in references and one in external links, although the URLs are different. Should these be combined? Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 01:19, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
