In Lawrence Lessig's Free Culture, this organization is mentioned in the notes, yet the text leading to the note names International Intellectual Property Association. That, according to some webpages, seems to be yet another organization, 1) "1930, as part of International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), as International Patent and Trademark Association (IPTA). Present name adopted 1989." 1, and 2) "The International Intellectual Property Association (IIPLA) is holding its Annual Congress of 2017 on 16-17th January 2017 in Dubai Radisson Blu Hotel, Deira Greek, Dubai, United Arab Emirates." 2, although does not have a googlable homepage. Now, I'm unable to devote the time this puzzle needs, but if someone happens to serendipitously know something about it, please clarify this case also in the article, whichever way it goes. --Oop (talk) 21:15, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
