In this RfC there was no consensus to remove the sentence in the lead which states that no medical evidence that Khelif has XY chromosomes has been published, consensus against stating that Khelif was assigned female at birth and consensus that sources presenting evidence for the possibility of XY chromosomes are unreliable.

There are various outlets actively reporting that Imane has DSD, claiming this is a similar situation as Caster Semanya. This Wiki article overly emphasizes that failure of published medical examination is clear indication of "misinformation" or "false claims" as if to dismiss the existence of a worthy debate. An objective view of the situation should discuss that much of the public backlash is coming from the unusually masculine features of this person, and general waning public support towards others with DSD (Caster) competing in female sports. The reason that's important to discuss is that if an eventual medical report comes out to verify active news stories (and DSD is confirmed), it doesn't validate either side of the controversy as public gender interpretation is not consistent. In other words, despite medically verified DSD in Caster, some people call Caster female and others call her male. The point is, the conversation is worth having to accurately reflect in an online encyclopedia that a debate exists. Rlplaisted (talk) 07:47, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not a forum. Editors would do well to familiarize themselves with the contentious topics (mentioned at the top of the talk page)

I was told by a friend educated in these matters that Khelif is XY with an insensitivity to androgens, so they were born with a vagina and uterus. My friend said like this is what Imane's doctors said, but I can't really find any online sources myself. Is there a source on this? Alexysun (talk) 02:30, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Khelif's sexual development has been debated a lot. There's nothing that we ought to say about it at the present point in time as the sourcing doesn't justify it. TarnishedPathtalk03:01, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We already had a RfC about it not long ago and we won't have another one just because you don't like the result. The rest has also been discussed (so nothing new to see). In any case, I will be hatting this discussion since it's clearly venturing into BLP violation. M.Bitton (talk) 19:07, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Just for the record, but Trump called Imane Khelif a "male boxer" today. Might be relevant, but since there are three different articles I'm not sure which to add it to. RodRabelo7 (talk) 02:57, 6 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
