Hitachi espionage.
Hi, I was wondering if information on Hitachi espionage on IBM could be included within the article? In the early 1980s, the FBI arrested several Hitachi executives in a sting operation and all plead guilty. IBM also won a civil case against Hitachi and was allowed to inspect Hitachi products for a 5 year period to detect design infringements.

Overview Page Currently Doesn’t Have an Objective Tone
The first few sentences of the Overview section read like marketing statements for Hitachi. It does not have the objective tone that is typical and expected of most Wikipedia articles. Bortorini (talk) 18:23, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
