Question about the church photo

With regard to Church of the Assumption of Holy Mary and St. Michael's Archangel, built in 1388 in Haczow. The new photograph would suggest that the old wood from the entire surface was replaced with brand new. Can you confirm that, if you happen to have been in the area? I'm not so sure if it was such a good idea considering its highest heritage status. Thanks in advance, Poeticbent talk 17:39, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The first photograph might have been heavily photoshopped (upon closer inspection). It looks suspicious. It has no informative value if that's true, and should be replaced with the real one. Please note the crooked cross at the top... but also the scaffolding. Poeticbent talk 17:55, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

With wooden boarded buildings, eventually the weather boarding rots and has to be replaced. It is the same with wooden ships.--Toddy1 (talk) 10:07, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
