The field of Global history has recently emerged, and positions itself as being different from World History, in focusing on global interconnections and (to some extent) the history of globalisation.[1] Since only one mainspace article links to Global history, meaning that the change won't be disruptive, I'm changing this redirect page to point to History of globalisation rather than World history.
