I've removed this, as I don't think it's correct. The ODNB states quite clearly that the brothers' mother was Jane Wintour (nee Ingleby). I believe that Catherine was their grandmother. Parrot of Doom 13:52, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As of 24 Aug 2020 this article is plagiarised text, largely cut and pasted from History of Parliament biog, 1982. (S. M. Thorpe, biography of Throckmorton, Sir George (by 1489-1552), of Coughton, Warws., published in History of Parliament: House of Commons 1509-1558, ed. S.T.
