The term "hagiographic" has been used in reference to this article. It appears to be uncritical or "reverential" to the subject. Any clean-up to improve this aspect of the article would be welcome.--Stormbay (talk) 01:28, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
'and therefore, he is now a saint.'
The act of canonization of any form does not make the person a saint, but it recognizes him or her as such. Therefore I would change the line to 'and therefore, he is now numbered among the saints' or something like that. I won't unilaterally make the change, if the person who wrote it disagrees. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 15:06, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The Séminaire de Québec
In the section " The Séminaire de Québec" it's written : " In 1638 he appointed the previously troublesome de Queylus as the first Superior of a new seminary in Ville-Marie."
the year 1638 does not make sense cause François de Laval was 15 years old then. Chiloa (talk) 16:18, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Does this article really call for the two separate infoboxes? They seem fairly redundant, but maybe I'm missing something.— Moriwen (talk) 17:26, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
