Khuynh96's Peer Review

Overall, good sources and content. I learned from Nate that you can consolidate citations if you use it multiple times. I think you go to "cite" then go to "re-use" so you're not citing the same source over and over again.

I think it would be beneficial for the article if you could explicitly hyper-link to references of other cars such as the M4. Lastly, to keep your article "content neutral" try to avoid any words leading to favoritism about this car. I'm not sure how strict wikipedia is about favoriting a specific product within groups but maybe something worth looking into before drafting a final.

Good work, looking forward to the finished product. Tmm113 (talk) 00:15, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kanraru(Jay Cho)'s Peer Feedback

Your intro is very well written, though I am not sure what else you will build the page up with. On my assumption that you are expanding on one section of the BMW M4 article, I would say a more expansive description of its performance(maybe with an infobox like it is done on BMW M3 page) may be good for your article.

It's a good start, but you need a lot more headers and different sections to make this a good article. There is good material for this that isn't so article-based(probably off BMW's main website?) as well, so maybe refer to that? Again, I would really refer to structure of BMW M3's page for your article to keep the consistency.

Also, your article as it stands contain too much 'experience' language. What the ride feels like, and the statement saying that it is popular amongst enthusiasts doesn't seem too neutral for me, let alone having little reliable sources for these. Less on what the car feels like, and more on what the car is.

Looking forward to your finished article! Kanraru (talk) 04:23, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My Feedback

Hi @Khuynh96:, @Kanraru: and @Tmm113: both left you great feedback, which I agree with for the most part, but I am less concerned about neutrality. Neutrality on Wikipedia doesn't have to mean that every statement is neutral, only that positive and negative statements are both included and are in balance. See WP:NOP for more on the neturality policy.

I do agree with them both that you could use a bit more information about the car, Kanraru left you some good ideas like to add an infobox or more details on performance characteristics.

It might also help simply to elaborate on the facts that you already have included, this might mean adding just a little more information to put this car in the broader context of BMW's line up or even comparison to other lines of sports cars. Improving the style of the writing, encyclopedic tone, grammar and some of the word choices will also help.

Finally, I think it would be great to add some more Wikilinks to your article. Wikilinks can be a good way to help other editors discover your article. Groceryheist (talk) 23:53, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this it's own page?

There is no good reason to have a page for the M variant of the 4 Series convertible, this page should be deleted/redirected and any useful information merged into the respective M4 article. Toasted Meter (talk) 19:24, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
