A fact from Eureka Diamond appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 1 October 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that the Eureka Diamond, the first diamond discovered in South Africa, was used as a toy by the boy who discovered it, given away for free by his mother, and sent by mail to a mineralogist in an ordinary paper envelope?
