Target

@Liz: and anyone else interested: In a recent edit, I retargeted this article to Electric transmission (propulsion) (a newly created article). This was because, although diesel-electric transmission is the most popular type of electric transmission used on rail vehicles, various types of transmission such as Petrol-electric transmission(uses in rail transport) and Turbine-electric transmission(uses in rail transport) have been used in rail transport, not only Diesel-electric transmission(uses in rail transport).

This edit was reverted by Liz (talk · contribs), four days later. Per WP:BRD, I have not reinstated these changes, but would appreciate it if any interested editors could post their views here, until a consensus is reached. WT79 (Speak to me | account info) 09:57, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
