I created this page today. It's clearly under construction and could use more work. Unfortunately there is not much information about Dina Nayeri available (I guess she is very private). I tried contacting her and she responded nicely but I believe she prefers not to be involved. Right now the most pressing bits of informations seem to me to be

• Nayeri's date of birth (I guessed the year from her New Yorker article)
• Nayeri's nationality (which I also guessed from that article)

Hello, I'm Dina Nayeri. This page was set up a while ago without my involvement, and I've been pretty oblivious to it until recent months. I'd like to offer my updates and edits here (assuming they are appropriate) to make the page more accurate and complete.

On the list of awards, I'd love to add that Who Gets Believed? was a 2023 National Book Critics Circle Award finalist (https://www.bookcritics.org/awards/). Since this is an international prize, I wonder if it can also be added to the summary at the top. I would also suggest this for the Kirkus, LA Times, and Horn prizes (all three already listed under the prize list), as they, too, are international awards.

I would like to say that my birth year is correct, but not the day/month. I don't want my birthdate to be shared, so I suggest using the year-only template (instead of year and age?)

I would suggest inserting "memoirist" after "novelist" to the summary at the top.

Finally, I would like to ask if it's appropriate for me to offer up short summaries of other books, as the original page creator has done for Refuge? It seems strange to single out that book.

@Dnayeri: I made a few edits. The birth date is unsourced, but another editor wrote (above) that they guessed it from a New Yorker article. The article needs some cleanup; I'll poke away at it.
