Merge proposal

I propose merging Deanery of Cadbury and Deanery of Christianity (Exeter) into Archdeaconry of Exeter (currently redirects to Archdeacon of Exeter, but that could be changed).

The consensus of a 2015 AFD discussion was that deaneries should generally be merged into archdeaconries. The merger would also address a general lack of sources on the deanery, which makes it hard to meet reasonable notability standards for a stand-alone article.— Moriwen (talk) 16:22, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose; the 2015 consensus was to keep, but that merge proposals could be persued. I don't think that picking off one Deanery to merge into the Achrdeacon's page would be helpful, even if you moved their page to an Archdeaconry page. Hence, I think that current structure works for readers. It needs better referencing though! Klbrain (talk) 09:05, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
