Hello I am willing to help on this page, but want to make sure I am not considered a self-author given my position on the CMMC-AB Objectives and Assessment working group.
I redid the dfn and history sections. I do not want to move forward with edits until editors feel this meets the notable article section. The removed version was almsot a copy paste of the CMMC model documents. I tried to diversify sources and add to notoriety,

What is considered the weakest part of this article? I am surprised it is so sparse given the upcoming deployment of CMMC 2.0 requirements beginning in May 2023.

AfC acceptance elaboration
This article isn't in that good a state. I can see a lot of issues with it. But I'd say the topic would probably survive an AfD (numerous secondary sources have been added) and is likely notable, nor are the content issues enough to decline on anymore.
