      • the released information from his service records do not indicate any time spent in Korea. Am working with former members of his unit to determine if he was ever deployed there in a temporary duty (TDY) status or if he was a Korean War-era veteran. Right now, information points towards the latter. Googleplex on 19 January 2009.
    • Review of unit monthly rosters and Daily Reports at the US Marines Corps History Division's office did not show any service in Korea, including TAD/TDYs. Review conducted on 27 February 09, Quantico, VA. All other information regarding units of assignment (AES-12, VMF-142) were verified with official records on hand. Will update Wiki to show the aircraft he flew in were the type used in Korea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Googleplex732 (talkcontribs) 05:50, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
