Not all noteworthy chase scenes in cinema involve cars..

"Chase scene" should be it's own article

It was a significant mistake to delete this article, and simply auto-link it to Car chase -- which details both real-life and cinematic chases, and focuses on automobile chases.

The cinematic fixture of the "chase scene" is an independent concept, not at all dependent upon car chases (though that is a common example). Some of the most famous chase scenes involve no car chase at all -- including chases in many Westerns, police dramas, many of the James Bond spy-action films, the chase scene from Day of the Jackal, and various domestic dramas.

The term "chase scene" is every bit as known as the term "car chase" -- and is a significant, independent concept meriting its own page.
