Was there not also an actual airport with jet capable runway(s)? IIRC in the early 60s the Red Knight air demonstrator aircraft flew from Beaverlodge for the Grande Prairie Airshow. AMCKen (talk) 19:09, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
