Lake Arthur, Morraine State Park

There is a mistake in the article about Butler County, regarding Lake Arthur, in Moraine State Park.

While a glacial lake (Lake Watts) did exist at one point at the present location of Morraine State Park, the current lake is actually the result of damming Muddy Creek, which created an artificial lake. The current lake flooded a swampy valley which had various uses, such as residential and agricultural areas, a railroad route and a coal mining area, oil and gas wells, among other uses.

Here are two sources which describe how Lake Arthur was recreated, mostly by the impetus of Frank Preston, geologist.
