Though not very knowledgable in the subject, i don't think that bundle sheath only exists in C4 plants. Bundle sheath refers to the layers of cells of the vascular bundle which - i think - exists in all plants. So IMO ,bundle sheath should be merged with vascular bundle article with the expansion of the latter and a section should be added at the end explaining that in C3 plants photosynthesis occurs only through Rubisco-dependent C3 fixation , while in C4 plants, PEP carboxylase -dependent C4 photosynthesis occurs in the mesophyll cells in the outer parts of the leaves, while Rubisco-dependent photosynthesis occurs in inner bundle sheath cells.--196.205.229.50 23:35, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
