I would like to see much more historical and technical information added about this Beretta 1951 pistol.
Thanks,

You might consider including a section for movies in which the 951 appears. The Al Pacino "Scarface" film prominently features the 951 (or Helwan), as well as Model 70 Beretta pistols. I believe that the assault rifle in the final scenes ("Say hello to my little fwen'!") may be a Beretta AR-70, too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.18.104.14 (talk) 18:34, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's recoil operated
So I removed this sentence from the inanely waffley 'Operation' section :
"The locked assembly provides a delayed blowback mechanism necessary for the 9 mm cartridge" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.98.159.158 (talk) 22:42, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, yeah, I changed the description, it is short recoil operated with a tilt-locking breech. Koalorka (talk) 19:24, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Other rounds
Does anyone know if the M1951 has been chambered for any other rounds? --Pewpewlazers 17:51, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I can determine, it was chambered in 9 mm and 7.65 mm. --wterrell 24:45, 22 October 2006 (MST)
Correct, only other version was the 952 in 7.65x22mm Para. Koalorka (talk) 19:25, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
