"When the surfaces are subjected to a compressive load, the asperities plastically deform,..." Is this true?? Seems like it would deform elastically first. If some one in the know can confirm this, could they change it? Chessofnerd (talk) 00:05, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
