A fact from All Saints' Church, Newchurch appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 July 2011 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that although William FitzOsbern had given All Saints' Church of Newchurch, Isle of Wight, to an abbey in Normandy, Henry VIII later gave it to the See of Bristol? The wordage "The church was one of the seven parishes on the Island when it was built, but now is part of several others." is not clear. I think what is meant is that numerous new parishes have been added.
