Also known as BALIST?
Finding any different stories on the Abyss Box, despite the number of news agencies covering it, proves tricky. However, there are some references to the BALIST aquarium (Biology of ALvinella, Isobaric Sampling and Transfer), which is associated with the same Bruce Shillito mentioned in the news stories. A secondary source can be found here which describes its use in testing the heat tolerance of the pompeii worm.
