Backing up User:Graham87's rejection of an entry for "alternatively powered vehicle" redirecting to Alternative fuel vehicle:

• A Google search for sources defining "APV" as such turns up almost nothing: apv "alternatively powered vehicle".
• A Google search for apvs cars yields all kinds of uses to which people have put those initials with respect to vehicles, giving no impression that anyone of them is established as what people have in mind when they use "APV" in connection with cars:

• All-purpose vehicle (also, see Suzuki APV)
• Autonomous passenger vehicle
• Ancillary power vehicle
• Autonomous police vehicle
• Armored personnel vehicle
• Amphibious passenger vehicle

• Other searches, such as apv vehicle, give the impression that if "APV" is taken to be a commonly used abbreviation for anything in the automotive field, it's "all-purpose vehicle", of which both the Suzuki APV and Chevrolet Lumina APV are emblematic.
