Pending changes reviewer

User:Geopony

Hello, I am applying for this role. I am fairly active on Wikipedia and have a history of constructive, timely, well-sourced edits. Geopony (talk) 11:07, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - I realise this has been sitting here for a while, and that the majority of your edits do seem to be of decent quality, but I'm not seeing any examples of undoing vandalism. Distinguishing between disruptive edits and positive edits is necessary to exemplify you understand Wikipedia's reviewing criteria. DatGuyTalkContribs 14:48, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'd like to become a reviewer. I've been editing on Wikipedia for a while now, with some breaks. I think I have a fairly good track record, although I admit that I violated the copyright policy unintentionally once, however now I understand the copyright policy. On my watchlist, I have articles which can be subject to vandalism and other violations, so I'd like to do my part by addressing these issues. @StephenMacky1: thanks for applying. About a month ago, you added some copyrighted material into an article. Can you tell me what you learned from that? And could you have a look at Help:Minor_edit? Edits adding a source [1] [2] should not be marked as minor. Femke (talk) 19:41, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have a pretty good/passable understanding of technical topics related to programming and software and I would like to bring some of that into pending-changes reviewing. Also, I do intend on being a bit more active on-wiki (as opposed to on Gerrit) than I was over the last two years and will try to actively contribute to the more contenty side of the project.
