The articles describe the idea of fashion being used as a platform for social movements/resistance, and provide examples as supporting evidence- both current and historical. I believe this helps give the movement clarity and credibility. I also added citation 101, which is a Youtube documentary of Lolita's in LA, that I felt explained some motives very well.
