Some species of the Barbarea genus are perennial, according to the Royal Horticultural Society (www.rhs.org.uk/plants/73341/barbarea-verna/details) but B. verna is either annual if sown in spring or biennial if sown to overwinter. From personal experience, if allowed to go to seed it will reappear in situ (and elsewhere) and so may be misinterpreted. Tag: Visual edit
