  • 03:3703:37, 2 March 2022 diff hist +2,111‎ N Bill Cunningham (sportswriter) ‎ Since I've updated the 1921 SMU football page, and the related pages, I wanted to at least have a brief bio on E. W. (Bill) Cunningham, who's at the center of all of these changes. This Wikipedia "holding spot" for this Bill Cunningham was the right place to do that.

  • 17:4217:42, 27 February 2022 diff hist −141‎ J. Burton Rix ‎ These changes align with changes I've made to entries for 1921 SMU football, W. A. Cunningham, & Victor Kelley (Kelly). Rix only coached the first 2 games in 1921, & was replaced by E. William (Bill) Cunningham (not W. A. Cunningham) for the rest of the season. I've added the correct citation & edited his coaching record to reflect just 2 games in 1921. There is list of "Bill Cunningham" entries in Wikipedia, but this Cunningham's entry is uncreated. He was Boston sportswriter for his career.
  • 17:0317:03, 27 February 2022 diff hist −57‎ Victor Kelly ‎ Victor Kelley was not a co-head coach at SMU in 1921. He remained an assistant when Rix resigned after the second game. E. William (Bill) Cunningham took over as the head coach for the remainder of that season. I've corrected the facts in the 1921 SMU football entry, including the citation that Cunningham was the head coach (and no one else). Also his name is misspelled as "Kelly" on the Wikipedia entry -- don't know how to edit that. It was "Kelley" and his nickname was "Chock."

(Bill) Cunningham, who was the caretaker coach for the balance of the 1921 season after Burton Rix resigned after the second game.
