Scoil Mhuire, is an Irish co-educational post-primary school in Clane, County Kildare. The school is on the western outskirts of Clane, off the Prosperous Road (the R403).

Originally founded as a girls' school, the first boys entered the secondary school in 1967 and it has continued to expand its enrollment numbers and its campus.[1] It became a community school in 1983 after the opening of a new building and an additional expansion was completed in September 2001.[1] The school is run by a Board of Managers, which is composed of 10 trustees, teachers, and parents who have been elected to the Board.[1]

On 8 April, 2016 enrollment was over 1000 students(with a roughly 50:50 ratio of boys and girls, aged 12 to 18) and a teaching staff of more than 70.[2] As of 2024, these numbers have increased to over 1200 students and more than 80 staff.[1]

The school operates the Transition Year, the Leaving Cert Applied, and the Leaving Cert Vocational Programs. Students also pursue programs in physical education and religious studies.[citation needed] Adult education is promoted at Scoil Mhuire, which is one of the largest adult education schools in the country.[1]

In 2022, the school was fined for the unfair firing of an educator for gross misconduct.[3]
